In your real estate transaction, I want you to feel completely comfortable with me, because I want to help you with the most important transaction you’ll probably ever make. My philosophies can be summed up in these few statements:
- I believe that my job is to help you maintain your comfort and sanity throughout this process.
- I believe that the key to a successful relationship is communication.
- I believe surprises have no place in a real estate transaction.
- I follow the Golden Rule in real estate and in real life.
I work hard to achieve these ideals by staying in touch with you every step of the way, offering you all the help I can. Please call on me to handle any of your real estate needs. I promise to treat your transaction as if it were my own.
A LITTLE ABOUT ME
I was born in Boulder, Colorado, and I have lived in the Denver/Boulder area my entire life. I graduated from the University of Colorado in Boulder with a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Finance, and I also completed all the coursework to earn a degree in Accounting. Since I could only declare one major field of study within the College of Business, Finance it was.
I began my association with real estate in high school by helping out answering phones and setting showings at the local brokerage, which was within walking distance of my house. In college, I completed coursework in real estate, and put myself firmly on the path toward my career.
After college, I began working for a savings and loan association in Denver, and quickly moved from the savings side to the mortgage side of the business. Over the years, I have worked in various jobs, and all have been associated with real estate in some capacity. I now have comprehensive real estate experience including work in agency, sales, mortgage, title insurance, architectural design and illustration, and construction – even landscaping!
I have been a licensed Colorado real estate broker since 1997. In 2000, I elevated my license status to Employing Broker, which is the highest level available in Colorado. You can read a little about how my career has developed in this post and this post. You know you want to, so go ahead.
I like to keep fit and active by running. There is an awesome, extensive trail network in and around Highlands Ranch, so there’s always another challenge or somewhere new to go. I consider real food, sustainable farming and permaculture really important issues of our day, and I (sorta) keep a blog on those issues at The Milkweed Agenda. For fun and a creative outlet outside of real estate, I enjoy dabbling in photography. You can see a few examples of my “work” by clicking here.
Feel free to give me a call to discuss your needs. I can be reached at 303-909-2365, or just fill out this little form to let me know what’s on your mind.
