I told you in this post that I was sorting through all my various social media accounts and figuring out what I was going to be doing with them. I promised I’d be posting about the ones I kept, and this is the first of a serious of posts along those lines.
First up are my facebook pages, which are not to be confused with my facebook profile. (More on that in another post.)
This page was set up so that I could easily share and repost real estate-related articles and information that I had come across. My blog posts are also picked up and reposted there. If you are on facebook, and “like” the page, that information will be delivered automatically to your newsfeed. The stuff I post there is also redirected back to this site, on the Stuff I found on the web page, so you can scan through the posts without ever leaving this site.
The focus of the stuff that I post on this page will be on buying, selling, and financing real estate, including current market conditions. You can use the facebook page to share the information with your friends, or interact with me there, just like you can here. Feel free to post comments and questions.
While my “broker” page is about getting information out to you, my newer page is all about building a community. This page will be all about what is going on in and around Highlands Ranch. I will be posting pictures of things I find as I’m out and about, and pictures and stories of the events that take place around here. As you can see, it’s still pretty much under construction, so feel free to post your own stuff and help it grow. Although it’s called the Highlands Ranch Connection, I hope that events in the surrounding area will also be making their way onto the page.
Just as with my broker page, go ahead and “like” the Westridge Connect page so you can stay up to date easily. The newsfeed is also posted back on this site, in the About Highlands Ranch page. You can see from the About . . . menu that I’ll be adding information to this website about the communities around Highlands Ranch. I’m not planning on creating facebook pages for each one, though. I want the Highlands Ranch Connection to be the center of attention when we’re talking about “area” events.
In another post, I’ll be talking about other accounts, but this is enough for now.
By the way, in case you can’t tell, the names of the pages and the photographs (both taken by me) are links to those pages in facebook. Unfortunately, it’s not really obvious with the formatting here.
Let me know if you have any comments or questions. I can be reached through the Contact Me page, or on the phone at 720-258-6211.
